Intended for rallies, this 1982 Porsche 911 Group 4 was rebuilt by SMG in 2012 on the basis of a 1982 911 3-litre engine in accordance with the maximum tolerances of the homologation sheet and was entirely assembled with new parts.It is equipped with a 6-cylinder, 320 hp, mechanical injection engine, combined with a 5 speed, short bevel gearbox with self-locking ZF type bevel gears. It is fitted with a SMG roll cage, a silver wire electrical circuit, a 65-litre rally-style fuel tank, 9-inch front and 11-inch rear rims and all the accessories required for homologation. Its achievements are quite impressive, as it won the 2012 Historical Tour of Corsica with Philippe Gache behind the wheel, the 2013 Historic Rally of Madrid (European championship CHV) with Carlos Sainz behind the wheel and the 2013 Orange-Ventoux Rally, once again with Philippe Gache. Its engine has been completely overhauled and the car has only driven 150 km since this was done. The transmission, gearbox, brakes, shock absorbers and starter have also been revised and reconditioned.
